Shannon Mcnevan - President

Born and raised in Peterborough Ontario, Shannon attended Bowdoin College in southern Maine on a hockey scholarship before taking his hockey career to Germany where he began managing professional hockey teams. After turning around 3 separate franchises and becoming one of the leading general managers in Europe, Shannon shifted his focus and turned his entrepreneurial spirit towards music. In 2011, McNevan founded, what has since become, the largest country camping music festival in Canada and second largest globally at 45,000 daily attendees. Boots and Hearts is the reigning CCMA Festival of the year for 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.

In 2015, McNevan launched the WayHome Music and Arts Festival in partnership with AC Entertainment.  With headliners Neil Young, Sam Smith, and Kendrick Lamar, plus 60+ other acts from varying genres, WayHome became the largest first-year music festival launch in North America in the last decade at 32,000 daily attendees.
