Cannabinoids are delivered transdermally using Mary's Medicinals patches. Transdermal patches may bypass 'first-pass metabolism' in the liver, which may result in higher bioavailability of cannabinoids and fewer side effects. Transdermal patches provide extended therapeutic benefit and sustained relief for up to 12 hours.

Potential therapeutic effects of the dominant cannabinoids:

Follow these steps for the transdermal patch:

Step 1: Clean the area of the skin where the patch will be applied with soad and water to remove any dirt or sweat.
Step 2: The 2X2" (inch) square patch can be cut into smaller pieces (i.e., 1/4 of a patch) for a customized dose of micro-dosing.
Step 3: Peel one side at a time.
Step 4. Patches should be placed on the inside of wrist, behind the knee or top of the foot. Carefully stick the patch to the desired area.
Step 5: Use fingers to smooth over the patch to ensure its properly adhered to the skin.
Step 6: Patches may be left on for up to 12 hours.
Step 7: To remove, peel carefully from one of the corners and dispose of the patch properly.
Step 8: Wipe off left over residue and wash your hand thoroughly.
